How many Truhes does it take to pick a cherry?

Twelve! 

This was our second annual cherry picking outing with Dave's folks. This time Dave's sister Debbie and her family joined us.  We had so much fun picking cherries then headed to Orword Resort for a late breakfast.  We always have so much fun hanging out with family.  I hope Mark, Corrine & Rylan can join us next year.

MOTHERS DAY 2010

Miranda had a game the morning of Mothers day so we were off to Walnut Creek.  Her team won the game so everyone was in a good mood for lunch.  Grandma and Grandpa Truhe came for the Game and lunch so that was an extra bonus.  After the game we all went to lunch at the San Francisco Creamery.  None of us had been there before so we thought it would be fun to try it out.  The food was just so so but the ice cream was very yummy!  Miranda wants to go back with some friends for her birthday and order “the kitchen sink” which is a ice cream monstrosity!  I thing it has something like 8 giant scoops of ice cream and another 8 toppings plus a bunch of extra stuff and it is served on a kitchen sink! 
After lunch we headed over to a local park to play off all of the ice cream :)  The kids had fun playing on the play structures and the adults had a nice time catching up.

Girl Scout Mother Daughter PJ Party

The girls and I has fun at the Mother/Daughter PJ Party for Girl Scouts.  We started with dinner at Mimi’s Cafe with our friends then headed over to to the party.  It turned out that our girls may have been a little old for this event but we still had lots of good clean fun :)

Here are two layouts I did this week.  Both are using Liz Childester's sketches from her blog.  She comes up with the best sketches.  Scrapping is so much quicker when I use her sketches.

Scraptacular Getaway Layouts

Here are the layouts I did at Scraptacular Getways (almost a month ago) I finally got around to photographing them and uploading them.  I wish I would have done more but I am a slow scrapper so I am happy with the 11 layouts that I did.

Grace and AJ were so excited to make these cookies.  I was bummed that the photo of the two of them came out blurry but I scrapped it anyway. (Jan. 2010)

The photo in this layout is of AJ hoping that he will be chosen “player of the game” Every game coach chooses a player of the game, the season was almost over and during this game AJ not only got his first hit, he got his second and third hits as well!  What a great game to be chosen Player of the game!

I was hoping to complete 100 scrapbook pages by the end of the year.  I am at about 32 (including digi).  It  I am a little behind, so I better get scrapping.  I hope to post more layouts later this week alone with a family update and photos.
