We had scheduled the guy to come clean our carpets yesterday but he was sick so he came today. We had planned on having a quiet day at home but we now had to think of something to do out of the house. Coco had a birthday party to go to so we didn't have to worry about her.
Lucky for me my 2 best friends Chaundra & Dee were also looking for something to do so we got to spend a few hours together. Chaunra's husband Matt was sailing in the bay so Chaunie and the girls came from Berkley and Dee was just looking to get out the house so she left baby Z with her hubby and came alone. We went to this new place in Brentwood Scoops. It's a little cafe with a toddler play area. It's an ok place, it needs some work but Gracie, Ciera and Adam seemed to have a good time. Miranda was a little bored but was a good sport. We had to get Coco at 3:00 that's when everyone went their separate ways. We will have to do it again soon. I miss you guys :)
Dave and I still didn't want the kids to mess up the carpet so we we decided to take them to Mimi's for dinner then to Barnes & Noble. The day started out stressful but ending up being a great day.
