Family Cruise: Day 3

Monday: Cabo San Lucas

We didn't have a whole lot of time in Cabo. When we got off of the ship we got a water taxi to take us to a beach where we could hang out at all day. We found the first vacant umbrella and called it a day! =) I think we spend about 2 1/2 hours at the beach, which was long enough because it was really hot! It was just enough time for the girls to get their hair braided and for everyone to play in the ocean. We to the water taxi back to the port and shopped for a little while before we got back on the ship. Next stop Mazatlan

Here is Dave on the water taxi that is taking us a beach.

Family Cruise: Day 2

Sunday: Fun Day at Sea!

Today we spent most of the day out by the pool. The kids had so much fun going down the water slides.

Family Cruise: Day 1

We made it down to Los Angeles just before midnight on Friday night. It was a long drive but not too bad. We stayed in a little hotel near the port and had a nice casual morning before boarding the ship on Saturday afternoon. We arrived to the port right around 1:00 pm. The boarding process went pretty smooth and before we knew it we were on the ship getting ready to sail.

Here we are at the safety drill wearing our life vests

Here are Grandma & Grandpa with the kids.

Dave, Grace, Coco & I discovered the Carousal Bar. Coco & Gracie had fun sitting on the Carousal horses that were at the bar.

100 Years Old

September 18

We went to my Great Uncle Fremino's birthday party tonight. The party was thrown by his son David (my mom's cousin) at Trader Vic's in Emeryville. Wow! 100 years old, I really would have liked to get a chance to talk to him about his life but he was asleep most of the time. He is in good health but does like to sleep a lot and has some memory problems. Still, I felt so honored to be apart of his celebration.

JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE PARK

September 15

We had a MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)Playday today at the downtown park. I asked Adam to bring his truck so he could play in the sand box. Gracie, however, decided it made a much better chair than a sand toy.
Adam started off in a grumpy mood but ended up having a lot of fun playing with the other boys. Gracie decided that swings are the greatest thing ever.

LOOK WHOSE A BIG BOY NOW...

Adam started preschool today. He was a little nervous but he said he liked it and even made a new friend :)

DEE IS HAVING A BABY!

September 5, 2008

Today Coco & I went to Dee's Baby shower. Her baby boy is due in late October :) We can't wait to meet him.

MY LIFE... It's a little messy, a little crafty and it's all good.
