First Haricut

1/24/09

Today we took Gracie for her first haircut. I don't think Dave was ready. Not after the mullet incident which is what happened when we got Coco's hair cut the first time. It wasn't pretty! But when we were finding Gracie's bangs stuck in her dried up snot, we figured it was time.

Gracie was such a good girl for the haircut. She never cried and she stayed very still so the nice lady could do her job. Dave and I were happy with the end result.

Black Diamond Gymnastics

Today we went to a MOPS play-date at Black Diamond Gymnastics. This was the first time Gracie saw anything like this! She had so much fun in playing in the foam pit. Adam was playing with the older kids and said the foam pit was his favorite part too. They had so much fun and can't wait to go back.

Troop 391 goes to IN & OUT

Miranda's Girl Scout troop took a tour of our Local In & Out Restaurant. The Girls had a great time, I think their favorite part was getting to eat at the end. All of the kids got a hamburger, french fries and a drink. Yum! Although the tour was at 9:00 am so it was burgers for breakfast! My kids decided that we should have eggs for dinner that night. Works for me =)

A visit from Dave's Uncle Butch and Aunt Joyce

We were so happy to have a visit from Dave's Uncle Butch and Aunt Joyce from South Dakota. We got to spend a few hours with them then we out to dinner with them. Gracie and Butch are now best friends.

Since Gracie's birthday fell on a night that Dave worked and we had to eat dinner so late, we never got around to the cake. So we had the cake the next night. We probaly should have just waited to celebrate her birthday in the first place... Oh well, this way she got to celebrate twice. :)

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

Gracie turned 2 on January 8, 2009

We just a a little family celebration. Here are a few photos.

Each of our kids gets to pick their favorite dinner on their birthday. Gracie LOVES McDonald's so that's what we had...

It was a cooking theme birthday. She got a play kitchen, play food and this cute apron set. What a lucky girl :) The kitchen is really cool, Dave is going to put it together tonight so hopefully I will remember to take a photo and add it to this post later :)

...and more Christmas 2008

Matt, Chaundra and the kids came for a visit.

Gracie and Ciera exchanged presents. They had a lot of fun playing together. They are becoming such big girls.

They got to sit at their own table for dinner :)

and a slumber party! No, not really... I think they laid there for about 10 seconds.

Everyone loves rough-housing with Uncle Matt!

We spent Christmas with the Yeaman family a the Saturday after Christmas. My Camera battery died right after we got there. :( I the girls had their cameras so I need to check to see if they got anything. My mom got some pictures as well so I need to make a disc from her pictures.

A sad attempt at getting a photo with all of the kids.
MY LIFE... It's a little messy, a little crafty and it's all good.
